Seeing the Sacred: A Photographic Study of Spirituality in the High Country. I'm drawn to explore the fundamentals of people, the parts that make us who we are. I've experienced spirituality to be one of the fundamentals and therefore was inspired to spend several months getting to know and photograph different spiritual leaders in the greater area of Boone, North Carolina. My goal? To compassionately approach individuals with varying spiritual lifestyles and to give my audience an opportunity to explore their own spiritual convictions through my project. Through this process I built priceless relationships with a variety of excellent individuals, I am so thankful for the experience! This album contains select images from each person's session.
